This page covers our personal notes for Logicode Modems.
Note #1
Submitted By: Rosenet Technician
It looks like Logicode is out of business. If anyone is willing to send me drivers or bits of information for these modems, I would accept them gratefully. Note #2

While looking for information on a Boca modem that contained a Cirrus Logic chipset (CL_MD34xx), I found a good AT command reference manual for this chipset at:
http://www.logicode.com/download/cir33txt.exe - which is a command reference manual for a Logicode modem with the same Cirrus Logic Chipset.
After many connection failures (even with speeds as low as 14,400), a technician from Boca said that downloading:
ftp://ftp.bocaresearch.com/Drivers&Software/File_area_14/ - The file needed is called 4385dos.zip
I have not verified that this resolved the issue, but I have not yet heard back from the customer - which is usually a good sign! Note #3

This is a note that I received from an Internet user on 1/19/98. This person claims that the problem with the .inf file that I mention below is no longer a concern. I have not been able to verify this...
I'm using Win95a and recently got updated drivers for my Logicode 33.6 H DSVDP internal modem that DO work. The drivers that came with it didn't. The drivers I'm using now I downloaded from the Logicode site in September Just thought you might want to know. Note #4

The .inf (information) files for Logicode 33.6 modems that are available for download at Logicode's site do not work! Don't waste your time downloading them as they will cause your modem to "quit responding" in Windows 95. Here is what I have done to setup these modems:
Install the modem as a "Standard 28800bps" modem.
Use the following in the "Extra settings" box:
&F&C1&D3
Make sure the maximum speed does not exceed 57600
Verify that you do not have any protocols selected in the "Allowed Network Protocols" that you do not need to be using for your Internet connection (TCP/IP is usually the only one needed).
